About Us

Welcome to Midtown Cottages LLC, located in Bethel, Alaska. . We are proud of the individual units that we have to offer you and appreciate your business. Our mission is to provide for you a clean comfortable place to work on business, or relax after a long day of meetings. We strive to create a space that will feel like you are at home whether you are hours or thousands of miles away from your own home.

 

Policies



  • Check in 3:00 pm, or by arrangement.

  • Check out11:00 am.

  • Full payment is due at booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

  •  Full refund for cancellations within 24 hours of the booking, if there is more than 14 days from the date of check-in.

  • No refund for cancellations or early checkout.

  • We offer Wi-Fi; however, it is very limited.  Bethel does not have access to unlimited plans- Do not stream videos, download content, Skype, or engage in any other internet usage that will use up large amounts of data.  Browsing and email only.  We will charge for the overuse fees. 

  • If you plan to use the internet for anything more please let us know and we will attempt to make accommodations.   

  • We will charge your credit card for missing items and damage done to the property.

  • There is no smoking in, or near, the Suites. Smoking is permitted 50 ft from the buildings.  There is a $500 fee if smoking occurs in the house.  There is a $200 fee if smoking has occurred near the doors or windows and creates a smell of cigarette smoke in the house. 

  • Smoking marijuana in the Suites is not allowed.  There is a $500 fee if smoking occurs in the house.

  • Please advise us of any special needs or requests, and we will make accommodations when possible.

  • We encourage you to text, call or email us with any questions that you have about our lodging or policies.

Things to do in Bethel:

 

Close by you will find two grocery stores- Swanson's and AC (officially named Alaska Commercial Company)- both are a short drive away, but also walkable if you are without a vehicle.  Bethel does have several taxi cabs that operate 24 hours a day.

There are several restaurants that will deliver; however, there are many that are walkable from our location.

 

Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center has a museum with traditional art of this area, as well as events that will be listed on their website  http://www.alaska.org/detail/yupiit-piciryarait-cultural-center-and-museum

 

YK Fitness Center has a gym and a swimming pool that overlooks the tundra http://www.ykfitness.org/
